Isn't table D3 the resistance and thereby voltage drop for the conductor at that ampacity? A #12awg drawing 20amps would be fairly warm and it's resistance would be higher than if cold. Isn't your 10.81ohms/milfoot at an ambient of 30degrees? The resistance factor would be higher if it was at 60 degrees? Just thoughts that come to my mind.
